You actually traced it?!

Photoshop has a filter to do that, you know...

toshema responds:

While, it was exactly tracing but it was. I used the photo I took of my sister as template for the artwork. I used Illustrators pen tool to draw shapes of color in the face. after these shapes of color build up and layer to describe shape and volume in the shading of her face. So tracing for me from an artistic stand point is a crud translation. Definitely from an artistic stand point, if I wanted to I could have changed the colors, of the skin tone, or mixed up the background and added more graphic shapes and patterns. But I decided to stay true to the picture.

PLus, photoshop filters are over used, they also look sooooo horrible, and can't compared to an artists touch and hard work.

Where...is..my...

WARWICK!

jouste responds:

lol, maybe when warwick has a day to himself i'll get on it but as it stand's the furry fiend is not on my list.

Warwick next :O

I love your LoL art. Make the hairy, devil hound next. The king of the jungle - Warwick! I understand you only draw characters you've played, so try him out :P

jouste responds:

haha i do like warwick a lot and i actually draw a lot of characters that i've never played. i like warwick a lot but he's got so much goddamned fur and it's such a pain to draw that stuff.

thanks for the high score! and being the king of the jungle! i always love having a strong warwick on my team ;D

reven117 responds:

Oh man.

I could have sworn, you ripped that off of one of the Brackenwood movies. You did a great job replicating his style.

Shayphis responds:

I would never rip of Adam's style and call it my own, i do enjoy tributing and create pieces inspired by him though, and thanks

Lovely :)

I love the innocent eyes. Some smoke/clouds or some other particles from his flight path would have been a nice touch, but great as it is too.

Trash-Man-1 responds:

Hmm, that is a thought. Too bad I didn't think of it. Oh well, maybe next time I'll keep that in mind if I do something similar.

Thanks.

Great

Your art has always seemed like watching TeamFortress2 concept art for some reason. I really like you shading methods. Keep up the good work.

jouste responds:

Yerp. I used the Smudge tool to control the swirls and all that. I used Photoshop CS.
